Do some phone banking with Team Ossoff on Thursday to help get Georgians the best representation and flip the Senate blue!

There are separate events for in Georgia and different areas outside Georgia to keep it organized and keep lists up to date.

Make calls to inform people about the election and help them make a plan to vote! :voteblue: :GOTV: :ga: :ossoff4ga:

@TonyStark It's not getting talked about as much but Republicans still have no replacement for Obamacare and would have taken away pre-existing conditions coverage if they could have already.

Jon Ossoff wants to protect what we have and make it better.

Efforts have not stalled; Mitch McConnell has stalled efforts.

The first thing cut from the bill was the much needed $1200.00 stimulus checks. Once again the people who need money the most are pushed aside. People are sicker, hungrier, and homeless, yet big business' liability protection has been pushed to the front of the line?

Help flip the 2 Senate seats.

Pelosi, Schumer say $908 billion economic relief package should be starting point for talks:

If arrogance, stupidity or hypocrisy were co-morbidities, there wouldn't be one Republican left standing.

This is a great picture of newly-elected Arizona U.S. Senator Mark Kelly being sworn in today, next to fellow Arizona Democratic Senator Kyrsten Sinema.

Good for AZ.

@CarolDanvers

This is Pompeo's "parting gift" to the families of foreign diplomats; a COVID superspreader event.

More from the most corrupt administration in America history.

The Trump administration claims 87% of PPP loans were for $150,000 or less versus 28% in actuality. Real small businesses were shut out.

This is how the Republicans want to spend our stimulus money. Of course they don’t want to go along with the Democrats’ proposals because that would require doing the right thing.

More than half of emergency small business funds went to larger businesses, new data shows:
washingtonpost.com/business/20

@TonyStark Hopefully GOP voters will realize who’s scamming them here. It’s not restricting activity that’s causing the problems. That’s necessary to keep COVID from spreading.

The problem is Republicans who won’t pass a good relief package and steals money from their actual businesses if something does get through.

It’s been pointed out before, but Republicans killed the oversight on this money. This is another example of why.

This election process revealed America's heroes and villains. Mr. Krebs is a hero. Every election worker, all people who worked tirelessly for weeks to ensure our democracy is safe, are heroes.

The villain list is long and starts with Trump, Pence, Barr, Rudy, Pompeo, all the GOP Senators (and I count Romney in that), Trump's legal team, and everyone else who tried to create sedition, treason, attempt a coup, or undermine American democracy, or did nothing to stop it.

ProPublica has a good article on how states with lax policies on COVID restrictions are hurting states with stricter restrictions. Examples: MO and IL near St. Louis and Quincy/Hannibal; IA and IL near the Quad Cities; and IL and IN/WI near Chicago. #COVID19

Republicans want to defund our government. Predictable for them to fake deficit concerns and try to sink a Democratic administration no matter who they hurt.

COVID relief.
A living wage.
Healthcare that covers eveyone.
Education for everyone.

Start with that. Going to austerity right now is a sure fire way to create a depression given that we're already in a recession.

Democratic economists call for big spending, total rethink of deficits as GOP seeks austerity:

Trump lost the popular vote and the Electoral vote, very clearly.

Losing very strongly. Losing like no one has ever lost before. Many people are saying it.

It's obviously a rough time for everyone, but I squeezed in a few donations. Someday, I hope organizations to help those who need it will be better funded, but consider donating to someone or something today.

Many are short due to COVID and are also doing humanitarian work to help areas affected.

@TonyStark I always donate to NARAL and Planned Parenthood on and I donated to a women's shelter, too.

It's important to share. :givingtuesday:

The fact that nothing was done for suffering Americans prior to this is disgusting. And yet many Americans voted for some of these very people who don't give a damn about their suffering. It's totally confounding.

The Republican-controllled Senate could just PASS THE HEROES ACT WHICH CLEARED THE HOUSE IN MAY. They could have done it at any point before now and help would be there.

Group of senators prepares $908 billion stimulus plan, aiming to break partisan logjam:

@TonyStark A friend of mine was talking about how wrong I was about the blue wave happening. Part of the reason is exactly this, buddy. Who would have imagined so many people voting against their own interests? It makes no damn sense.

@Vision

This plan gives corporations millions of dollars in protections from Covid-related liability for the low price of just $300/week for 4 weeks for unemployed Americans. Once again, Greed Over People.

Democrats are fighting for $600 supplemental to state unemployment for the duration.

Something will probably get passed because Democrats do care and Republican will try and take credit. Eyes on the media coverage.

Hey, kids - here's a big surprise, the con man is running a con about the elections being a fraud to line his pockets! So he is going to ride off with a couple of hundred million from the rubes.

More stories from people who wouldn't take this virus seriously until it got them.

A guy I know for work purposes referred to Covid as a lot of bullshit. He's now on a ventilator.

A related item: my state puts out PSAs regarding wearing masks and socially distancing, yet I haven't seen a single PSA from the U.S. government. We couldn't have had a worse person at the helm than Trump.
