It's four beautiful black women, one of which is Margie Hendricks, telling you to hit the road in a great song with the amazing Ray Charles.

@TonyStark I voted for basic human decency and kindness; for everyone's rights to be and love who they want; for healthcare; for safety; for the ability to sleep through the night again; for the country we always thought we were... and I voted with thoughts of my friend who was so afraid of catching COVID due to her compromised immune system that she didn't go to the doctor in time to save her life. 🖤
@TonyStark Let's bring everything we've got. We have one last shot today to remove a threat to the entire world. All we need to do is show up.
Watch some Republican turn around and try to stop a mask mandate within the next 15 minutes or so.
Judge says Texas mask mandate must extend to polling places - https://abcn.ws/2HFg0XU
Taking my MIL for her first chemo treatment on election day (she reasoned that it would be a good omen - "We'll start getting rid of two cancers at once!") - so we're sitting down as a family tonight to discuss local issues, fill out our ballots and drop them off tomorrow at the local dropbox.
This will also be her first Presidential election as a US citizen (just missed it in 2016). She is MOTIVATED. #Vote
Our action items right now – right this very second and from now until November 3 – are crystal clear.
We know what we need to do. We need to vote. We need to protect other people who need to vote. We need to encourage friends to vote, help people register to vote if they still can, and educate people about voting.
Change is possible – when we demand it.
But only if we demand it. Only if we really want it.
This SCOTUS decision for Wisconsin voters is a terrible sign for our democracy.
State courts have held the power to interpret state election law. This is an important division of power. If the SCOTUS can overrule a state supreme court on a question of state law, 9 people will be deciding whether or not any of us can vote.
Vote today if you haven't, blue everywhere.
The Supreme Court’s new decision on Wisconsin mail-in ballots threatens a century of voting rights law:
