The hoax has made it to the inner circle.
She and jr. did travel to South Dakota but not on Air Force One.
They did not meet up with trump, but he must be one nervous, paranoid, germaphobic, malignant narcissist tonight.

Interesting.
McGrath is raising money like crazy.
So the GOP & their political action committees are forced to spend more to save McConnell.
That means less money spent on the incumbents who are viewed as vulnerable.

Why Amy McGrath could cost Republicans the U.S. Senate, even if she loses to Mitch McConnell

@MJ :100:

became my mantra several years ago. I noticed who was doing the most volunteering for Hillary, who had the smartest ideas on the birdsite (back when I was still there), and who always votes intelligently.

I saw someone say the exact thing you’re referring to and all I can say is, they were full of shit.

Everything that trump doesn't like automatically becomes a hoax. We deserve better. We deserve a leader who will tell the truth and do what is necessary.

@marissa Same here. We have to vote to protect all the people who would be hurt the most by four more years of trumpism.

"I also got a bad taste in my mouth from Twitter supporting kinds of speech that I don't particularly agree with, and I began to feel like putting my toys and art there was just adding value to the network. For a while I felt that the tradeoff was that the art I published there still enriched my life and the lives of my friends. At some point, though, I started to feel like the balance got out of whack, and I could do more good by putting my work on alternate networks and giving people a reason to get off Twitter. "

All cultural producers with some degree of audience and influence should really think about this: what structures do I validate by my presence? What and whose structures do I reinforce? What other places can I advantage?

@Thunderbirds511 I guess some people in the US are going to get their wish of having the country become isolationist. No other country is going to want to do business with us if we insist on doing herd immunity the hardest possible way there is :/

Oh for crying out loud. Talk about stupid parties this one takes the cake.

From CNN International

"Some young people in Alabama are throwing Covid-19 parties, a disturbing competition where people who have coronavirus attend and the first person to get infected receives a payout, local officials say."

The economy didn’t “add” jobs or create 4.8 million “new additional” positions. People went back to work to jobs that were put on hold when coronavirus struck.

Here’s a real world example:

Two close friends returned to work. One is a chef, the other is a sales rep. The chef’s job was reduced from full-time, having a set salary, to part-time-hourly. His was a Catch-22 situation. If he turned down his old job, he would have lost unemployment benefits. 1/3

So he returned to work at 32 hours per week at an hourly rate making 60% of his previous full-time salary with the only positive aspect being his health insurance benefits are safe.

The sales person works on straight commission in a business that depends heavily on retail and entertainment. Another Catch-22 callback. She's making 55% of her previous income.

When we read the numbers, it’s best to consider not the headline or summary, but the details.  We’re far from being “back to normal.” 2/3

And how many are now back in the unemployment line due to Trump and the GOP governors opening up the economy too early?

The economy did not ADD jobs, it RESTORED SOME jobs.

If Trump had taken this seriously from the beginning, we would be on the road to recovery.  Instead he played GOLF and said it would go away. We are setting records with new cases. He tanked the country single-handedly.  Trump is the problem

Joe is the answer.

Vote for Joe Biden. 3/3

And these rosy, splashy numbers are virtually always revised downward in the following quarter, anyway.
